Doors were opened 20 minutes late. Lame.

Decent crowd. About 250-300. Dr. Keith was trying to fill in the ring side seats with folks in GA, but those GA spots ended up being mostly filled.

Funny thing is, GA was $25 on the website, but I paid $10 at the door. I kid you not.

The Taylor-Gargano "I Quit" match reminded me of Jim Ross' line at Mania 13 after Austin-Hart. "Boy this is going to be a tough act to follow." Nobody could, although they tried. Gargano took two sick bumps off the top through a table on the floor and through a guardrail onto the concrete. Ouch. Taylor hit tacks. Gargano stuffed some tacks in Taylor's mouth and superkicked him in the face. Brutal. Taylor begged off, but tried to cheap shot Gargano, so Gargano got him in Alex Shelley's old sub finisher with barbed wire wrapped around Chuck's head. Nasty looking.

Davis & Yamato was methodical, but that was more than fine. Decent.

Generico vs. Tosawa was good, but I don't see how Von Eerie fit in.

Ricochet main eventing an IPPV was unthinkable when I first saw his green, spot-botching skinny self on a IWA Mid-South show in Midlo. He has come a long way. The main was DGUSA speed with lack of selling, but some guys hit big moves and their opponents were saved by their partners instead of a strong kickout, which was preferred.

A part of me died when kayfabe died. Kayfabe was treated with reverence. It was a privilege to be smart. It was a privilege to be involved in this business. It’s not because you had $1200 and could go online and buy a pair of f'n boots, and now you’re a f'n pro wrestler. --Ed Chuman.
